About Movement Retail - Wes and Colin

We are sellers first and consultants second.

We are often asked, “If you are so good at selling on Amazon, why not do it yourself?” And the answer is, “We do!”

We put our money where our mouth is and our skills to the test through developing and scaling in-house brands of our own. This provides an incredible host of benefits, as we are constantly in the weeds developing and testing new strategies on our own dime.

All of this knowledge and experience is in turn transferred to each and every one of our partners.

With eight years working in the e-commerce space and a history of helping an eclectic range of brands make millions of dollars on Amazon, Colin utilizes his expertise in SEO and operational management to bring value to the companies that have the opportunity to work with him. Beyond his work, he enjoys traveling the world to experience new cultures, cultivating his familial relationships, and following a regimented workout routine.

After earning a degree in Finance and Strategic Management from Babson College, Wes joined forces with his lifelong friend, Colin, to bring his quantitative finesse to the e-commerce space. Specializing in strategic planning, inventory management, and advertising, he has a knack for providing streamlined solutions to seemingly impenetrable problems that brands face.

Laying the groundwork for what would eventually morph into Movement Retail, in 2015, Colin began selling products on Amazon using the simple business model of retail arbitrage. At the time, he would go to local grocery stores, buy products on clearance, and resell them on Amazon; and, as a young high schooler, he couldn’t resist chatting with his best friend, Wes, about all that he had been learning. It was around this time that they both expressed an interest in developing expertise in this space.

Moving forward, the two continued to develop their affinities for selling on Amazon by taking on much larger-scale projects. Through doing so, they realized that the knowledge they had acquired from selling on Amazon could be a phenomenal asset to some of the brands whose products they were reselling. And, so, Movement Retail was born.

Over the past eight years, the two have played a crucial role in driving millions of dollars in revenue to all sorts of brands—both in-house and those they have partnered with. Their work has spanned across a vast array of industries and product categories, however, one thing remains constant: The level of satisfaction that these brands have with Movement Retail. Time after time, Colin and Wes find themselves humbled by the smiles that they see on the faces of brand owners who have taken the opportunity to work with them.

Many times, the owners will be completely unaware that their products are even being sold on Amazon at all!
